Universe2go is an educational application available for Android devices that serves as an audio-visual guide to the night sky. The app offers two modes: a star chart mode that can be used as an electronic star chart and a planetarium mode that generates display for the universe2go device. With the help of an AR-Astrobrille, users can simultaneously view the real sky and virtual overlays with information about the same sky section. The app generates images and graphics based on the local time, the user's location, and the device's orientation. The app is accurate and allows users to identify stars and constellations confidently. Universe2go also presents the star images in the actual size they appear in the sky, making it easier to locate them. Additionally, the app has a digital zoom that automatically enlarges many cosmic objects, and some images are even presented in 3D. The app contains over three hours of audio material and specially prepared astro-images for hundreds of objects, including stars, galaxies, nebulae, and supernovae. The app is free, but the universe2go device is required for the planetarium mode.
